Enjoy this correspondence about LED skincare technology that reduces wrinkles and tightens skin. 

A student asked:

I am very interested in purchasing an LED machine; possibly to help heal my clients after permanent makeup, and also to offer this service for anti-aging. There’s SO MANY machines on the market and basically, I’m confused. I read about your experience with LED and that you LOVE it. Could we talk? It would really help me decide if YOUR machine is the one for me. Thanks for your help.

I got my skincare license because I loved the LED technology and of course want to keep my skin as good as possible before choosing to knife it!

As I am not doing to practice professionally until I move to Venice, Fl (even tho I’ve got tons to keep me busy with my new ColorAlchemy book and Feng Shui mastery web goodies), I wanted an LED for me now but to use for clients down the road.

Yes, like you, I got overwhelmed at the shows on which to buy.

It was a no brainer when I met the pres/developer of this one:

They explained the technology: simply, an LED light bulb is an LED light bulb, so which company and style of “fixture” do you like?

I loved these guys as they weren’t coy about the technology. I also loved the “fixture’s platform. It is “face size” or “decollate-size” and you stick someone’s bod in front of it after massaging on the topicals (machine penetrates them better too) and you can go do something else—it is self-timed for 20 minutes! Sitting in a chair, I do my decollate and hands/knees while watching TV, and I do my face during commercials. I don’t have a table yet so I even tried my upper thighs and stood in front of it, but only once, I think I am too lazy and usually don’t show off my upper thighs!

My thoughts were, I wanted one with the biggest surface area for the least amount of money….most this size (which looks a little sturdier - but not as mobile) but with the similar “plate size” was a whopping $12,000. GADS!

Interestingly, and most definitely ego boosting, a friend who I hadn’t seen me in several years (we even traveled to book & conferences together) saw me just a few weeks ago and said, you look younger than when I saw you the last time! Oh course I am happy to brag about that!
