Flying stars, best directions and moving water

The entrance to my home is in the East.  The east is one of my Best Directions, but on the flying star chart it is a 2,7 which is not good.  Since the East on the bagua is represented by wood and on the flying stars the 2 is Earth the 7 is Metal I guess I am a little confused about the amount of each element to put in there and which element should be enhanced the most.  My foyer is a deep green color so I have a lot of wood.  I have tried to balance out the other elements also the best I can.  I do have a fountain in my foyer also.  I know you mentioned never to have running water in bad flying star areas because it will enhance the ick of the flying stars.  My fountain is permanently fixed to the wall and I really enjoy having it there.  I find it to be very soothing and it makes my foyer have a very inviting feel.  Is there anything I can do to counter act the effect of the running water in that area?  Thanks!

I like the wood/green as it keeps the 7 “busy”  so it doesn’t bother you too much and it supports the new beginnings of the E. You can’t really counteract the moving water. I agree the sound may be soothing but not to the extent that you or a family member “tears/cuts something” It helps that it is a good direction for you - pay attention to what happens especially during bad monthly stars—and make a judgment. Can you turn it off during bad months?

I appreciate quality questions like this!

    Hi Jami,
Thank you so much for the advice. I really appreciate it. I checked my monthy energies and the energies are great for the foyer area for the month and it specifically states to enhance the monthly energies with moving water. Does that mean that it would be ok to use the fountain even though I have the flying star energies of 2,7?
