Jami’s hot flashes, Glenda’s FS & her thoughtful sharing
Glenda was having computer problems and she “lost her foundation Feng Shui Mastery certificate. The solution was quick and easy: done!
Â
With my reply, I mentioned HOT FLASHES because this is what she said about her FS,  “I am truly enjoying blaring my music and screaming “NO MORE”, what a great way to unwind from work and accomplish a good de cluttering! I only regret not knowing about this during menopause!
Â
And here is where our magic moment began. Of course Glenda gave me permission to share it with you. “I would be honored to be on your blog! What a blessing that would be.â€

You really don’t what I had done to get out of the hot flashes. It was called cancer, the doctors found it in the early stages and I had a radical hysterectomy. This was my second successful cancer removal. I had a long talk with my body during recovery; thank her for giving me the intuition to know something was wrong, and to get it removed. I do believe that this scary situation made my intuition kick in high gear.Â

Thank you for all you are doing to me. It is a challenge to de clutter, and it is hard to take that first step. Once the step is taken it becomes easier with each room. Letting go of “things” gets easier once you say goodbye to the object and the person who left it in the house. I am slowly getting rid of bed clothing that I had in the 70’s that I will never use but the stuff has traveled from house to house, Jacksonville to Tampa to Seattle. Who will use waterbed sheets? I gave them to the quilting club to use for quilts.Â

I used to sit on the garage floor to cool off during hot flashes. That was one of the reasons we left Florida was I could not get cool. The pool or AC did not work too well. My mood swings were very radical. If it wasn’t for my husband who called my doctor I don’t think I would have made it this far in life. It makes you wonder if women in the 1800’s did not kill themselves to relive the discomfort. I will pray that you get relief soon.

Thank you so much for sharing your story..if I may ramble.

It gives us so much to think about…how much we have to be grateful for. How we need to trust our intuition and how we need to take action.
I love how you talked to your body and thanked “her”— we forget the miracle that she it is — and how body, mind, and spirit are so integrated —so wise— we expect her to always perform…and that even within our strength, we are also very fragile and life is so precious.
Â
As far as thanking me for all I am doing to you….YOU are doing the work! I am just giving you’re the tools and hopefully the encouragement. You can thank “her” (your mind, body, and spirit) for having the courage to do the work. It is so worth it. Actually, it is probably much easer than your “first paragraph.”
Â
There is no doubt that no one escapes life challenges if you/we are blessed to live long enough. Sometimes we just have to remember the key: keep walkin’ with joy, hope, and love. I love FS and ColorAlchemy because they make such a difference in remembering that and providing the smoothest path.
Â
Thanks so much for coming into my life. I am grateful that you and many “web students” know that I am a real person with the life same challenges. It is encouraging to me (and I am sure others) to know that if one of us can move beyond their challenges with such love, we know we can too!
Â
As for my flashes, I am glad I mentioned them to you….Yesterday, I discounted an article about getting a physical (my gyno an mammogram were fine less than 6 months ago)…but I had two wake up calls yesterday (you and the article!), hummm…. I may be “flashing†for a reason, you are right, and as a lesson to everyone, if you are experiencing something different in your body, check it out! I am going to. When you get confirmation that you are fine, a few flashes are no big deal. They remind you that you are alive and to take a breath –even if it is a hot one!

With love and gratitude,
