I am confused on determining the the position of the Bagua in the house
The more I read about this, the more I feel confused with this. I read in several of the Feng Shui articles that the bagua can be aligned with the front door and from there you can determine each area, I also saw in the Jami Lin Video, Feng Shui Today, that she did not talk about North or South. Now I find the bagua in the Jami Lin website to have the location according to North, South, East and West there is no aligning of the front door with the side that has Knowledge, Career or Helpful People.
Can somebody help me with this, I had already done everything by aligning and it seems to be working

Good question! The video simplified FS using the front door to orient the Bagua. This practice is according to Professor Lin Yun (who I respect and revere). This system is also called the 3 gate method. But the more I studied compass school with its foundation in earth magnetics and how all the energies align to compass direction, the more I shifted my practice and the more effective FS became. Yes, please use compass direction – the system that is as old as Mother Earth and the FS system that has been practiced for over 5000 years. I use the Life aspirations according to compass direction as the icing on the cake for “accessorizing for your desires.”

if I place the bagua on top of teh entrance door, my relationships/marriage points to the kithcen area? how do I read teh bagua..like when I get in shos to the front? how I can explain this?
and if I see to the left is my livin room
