Jami Lin’s Feng Shui, Interior Design, ColorAlchemy & Skin Care

I think I have a few types of feng shui mixed together, but here is what I know:

My husband’s kua # is 6. Mine is 4. He’s a fire sheep and I’m a metal pig.

Our house was set on our location and we moved in in June of this year. Less than a month later I was fired from my job of almost 4 years. Our front door and most of the living room face South, the master bedroom and shower are SW, the master tub/toilet, laundry room and eating area of the kitchen are W, the cooking part of the kitchen is NW, the family room with fireplace are N, the office and guest closet are NE, the guest bedroom, bath and 1/2 of the children’s room are E, the seating area of the living room and bunk beds in the kids’ room are SE.

The whole house is cream colored with tan carpeting right now (a little green in the master bath and a little blue in the guest bath). We have brown furniture, with some French blue, mauve and avocado accents (believe me, they DO look good together). I am going to buy paint in the next 3 weeks, and I have some colors in mind, but I want to be sure I am not strengthening vibes in a room that is inauspicious for me or my husband, and that’s pretty much ALL of the rooms!

We have no halls or stairs to contend with. Our floorplan is fairly open, with lots of natural sunlight and fresh air. We’re still unpacking and uncluttering at the moment, but I feel it is urgent that we work on introducing more color (the walls are just white primer now) and make sure our home isn’t working against us.

I have fool’s gold on the mantle and clear quartz by the computer. What else can I do to promote happiness, health and especially help me get a new job and improve our wealth situation? Do I even have the right stuff in the right place? Are their colors anyone can recommend that will help us?
