contradiction in remedies

My house is a period 7 E2 facing. The family room is in the SW (with some S overlap) with 3/4/8 sequence. From my research, the Water star 8 is timely and Mt. star 3 is usable. This is also my unfortunate place so Water (a swimming pool) is placed in the SW corner of the backyard.  After much cross checking, I keep getting the remedy of Fire to reduce the controlling 3 Wood star which supports the 8 Earth star at the same time. I don’t understand why in my personal success map you said to enhance area with Water &/or Wood. Which remedy is true? My master bedroom is directly over this same area on the second floor and I want to make sure I get this straight.  Thanks, Shaunna

    Hi Shaunna—

    You are right, FS goes even deeper than just looking at the remedies for the stars independently. To give you a definitive answer based upon your exact architecture, I really need to study your plan with all the layers of the Bagua. Based upon the level of your question, I bet you have the knowledge to compromise the best solution. 

    Hint: have 3 reasons for your one solution!
