John is a Li-Fire person
Do you like the South-Facing or North-Facing Option better?
Do you like the South Option?
Walk into 5th best location (only 1st worst) but carry in N direction energy (John's 3rd best) Not a bad combo!
Walk in through SW 5,9 location, carrying in 7,7 direction---you got that nasty 5 in the Yin position which isn't that strong, but with the "wild card" 9 in the Yang position, the Yearly & Monthly energies will cause ~eater "mood" (energy) swings.
With the ever-changing Yearly & Monthly Flying Star Energies, the S is a better long-term choice because of the 6,8 - 8,6 - 4,1 front door energies compared to the energies with the N-facing office: precarious 5,9, the soon to be cutting 7,7 energy, and 3, 2 bullfight energy.
The furniture layout is contingent on a wall separating two standard suites in an office executive center. As this is a rental, to minimize construction costs, the intent is to cut one small door-sized opening between the spaces. Where?
By opening wall in SE sector, John walks into his office again through the wealth & success 6,8 energy (yes, he carry in his 2nd worst energy of the w-- but the double 6,8 (front door & entry to his office and the direction he is sitting will beautifully compensate --- there is no perfect FS, the object is to prioritize and compromise to provide the best alternatives). A water fountain at both of these areas will activate the great 8 money number!
John's desk faces/sits in his lire of Chi (in his 3rd & 4th best-and faces the 8,6 wealth & success flying stars-how great is that!) and the comer work surface, for his computer to maximize work space and reduce wasted space, is facing his 2nd best direction with scholarly and academic success 4, I Flying Stars (pretty good)!
A metal wind chime in the SE during 2003 will reduce the severed fate energy--and w/ the icky-chi-reducing chime, when John computes, he will not be in its effect that much because of the good 4, 1 Stars and it is his 2nd good direction! John, just don't use that door in 2003 !
John's very special art (a 4 foot wide legal drawing of him commanding the court room -- one that was used by the media to describe his success in the courtroom) is hung in the S/fame area to further his prestige and provide inspiration ( as in this layout, John faces the art when seated as his desk). Hey John, put it in a Wood
frame - Wood feeds Fire (the energy of the South! A red Fire frame would be ugly! No ugly FS here!)
John's assistant has been positioned to face two of her best directions and the existing file cabinets are positioned to give her privacy yet file access. The area in front of her could be used for as a waiting area and/or for more filing/equipment.

John's desk faces/sits in his line of Chi (in his 3rd & 4th best-and the 6,8 wealth & success flying stars- pretty good!) and the comer work surface, for his computer to maximize work space and reduce wasted space is facing his 2nd best direction with scholarly and academic success 1,4 Flying Stars {not shabby chi either)!
Because the pass through between offices is cut in the center of the wall to allow for John's and his assistant's desk positioning, guests and clients can meet with him in a less formal setting around a good-chi round table.
While the 9,5 energy isn't very good to bring into John's space, he is carrying in his 1st (first) best energy from the East with him!
John's very special art (a 4 foot wide legal drawing of him commanding the court room -- one that was used by the media to describe courtroom proceedings) is hung in the N/career area (the S/fame area has a window) to further his career and will inspire him every time he walks in. John, as I remember that awesome piece, a black frame will be decoratively nice and it will support the Water energy of the North.
John's assistant has been positioned to face two of her best directions and an acoustical panel can be positioned to provide privacy. The area in front of her could be used for as a waiting area and/or for more filing/equipment.
